In New York on 7th June?

AIGA present Fresh Dialogue 22: Making Magazines, a round table discussion featuring three independent magazine publishers. All three make magazines that are attempting to do something different to the mainstream, and should have a lot to offer on the subject of launching your own magazine.

The three are:
Tod Lippy, editor, Esopus
Lisa Farjam co-founder, Bidoun
David Haskell, editor-in-chief, Topic Magazine

The discussion is chaired by James Truman, late of Conde Nast, now CEO of LTB Media, publishers of a string of small art titles incluing Art & Auction and Modern Painters.

Alas I can't be there but would appreciate any review or comment about the event from anybody out there who does attend.
