‘The magazine of circular design’
Reloved is a new, smartly put together Swiss biannual dedicated to unpacking the ever-expanding circular economy, covering pre-loved/thrifted/secondhand objects and the people championing their longevity. Amongst expected features—industry statistics, practical infographics and secondhand style guides—there's also plenty of cultural and design orientated stories, exploring the notion of circularity on a broader societal level.
This debut issue opens with an interview with circular economy pioneer Walter Stahel, while also covering the cultural hotspot that was 1980s New York; the resurgence of retro football shirts; the rise of pre-owned watches; the timeless designs of Bruno Munari; fakespotting; and the year 1963 captured in five images.
