A new(ish) photography meets interiors publication, Parisian-born Other Scenes takes ‘a transversal approach to contemporary life’, offering an aesthetically pleasing mix of art, fashion, objects and personalities.
This fourth edition opens with an interview with Dutch architect Anne Holtrop, revered for his work bridging the gap between architecture and art. Also inside: painter James White’s hyperreal masterpieces; a photo editorial featuring polyglot creative Nina Zem—actress, model and ceramicist; as well as, sculptural artwork and poetry from Marisa Merz. Elsewhere, choreographer and director Sulan Rios presents an absurd photographic series, inspired by the occasional feeling of being perceived as a horse while working as a model.
