Turmeric is a new annual title, featuring bold and colourful page design, dedicated to showcasing artwork and interviews with creatives from across the Indian subcontinent and its diaspora.
This debut issue features an enchanting illustrated cover by Akshita Sinha, portraying a furry trio of conspirators convening in a rocky starlit landscape. Inside, readers can explore the painted practice of Anikesa Dhing, the ceramic world of Vivitsa Kohli, and the surreal universe of Prachi Dhase. Elsewhere, the edition features poetry from Parth Rahatekar, an ode to mundane memories penned by Saniya Patel, and illustrations from Kartika Bagodi, alongside interviews with several other creatives, including entrepreneurs Dharini Patel and Vivitsa Kohli.
