The original queer magazine, first launched in 2001, and relaunched 21 years later with the support of Bottega Veneta. Butt is the little pink mag ‘where gays can speak candidly about their ideas, work and sex lives.’
Athenian filmmaker Stelios Christoforou is the cover star of this Autumn 2026 issue, photographed by Wolfgang Tillmans and interviewed inside by Eddie Baker; the pair discuss summering on the Greek island of Anafi, his new film ‘Lithargos’—inspired by the island—and what psychoanalysis has taught him about sex. Elsewhere, Kim Petras breaks down her new track ‘Brutalist’, an allegory for transitioning; Jordan Tannahill profiles legendary sci-fi author Samuel R. Delany at home in Philadelphia; Madonna’s makeup artist Marcelo Gutierrez lays their working relationship bare; and Lewisham spoken word performer and novelist Kae Tempest introduces his new novel, ‘Having Spent Life Seeking’. As ever, nude photoshoots abound!
