‘The Secondhand Fashion Magazine'
’Reveling in the decay of fashion as we knew’, the excellently named Mildew is a relatively new (or original) title celebrating secondhand fashion and creative reuse, created by the deputy editor of magCulture favourites Broccoli and Mushroom People, Ellen Freeman.
The first issue was a joyful collection of hand-me-downs, vintage finds, repaired pieces and the stories behind them. The second considered secondhand culture at large. Now, for this third edition, the Mildew team explore 'small places' (New Jersey, the Mississippi Woods) and 'big places' (Abidjan, Mumbai) to seek out the people and the histories that exist behind the clothes that we wear.
