An experimental new arts-meets-fashion title from Portugal, each issue of Schema explores a single narrative through a series of chapters entrusted to different creatives, somewhat similar to the likes of Acne Paper.
This debut issue is titled ‘Tilda’s Tale’, following protagonist Tilda as she navigates the ups and downs of a linear life, in defiance of a childhood prophecy that sets the story in motion. Exploring ‘dreams and the disillusionment of grand, unattainable aspirations’, the issue unfolds through a series of fashion editorials, experimental fiction and tarot readings, which mark various points in Tilda’s highly visual journey.
