‘Always first at keeping you tapped into fashion’

Taking the leap into print, Outlander is the eponymous luxury and streetwear magazine from the popular media platform founded by Callum McCafferty in 2014. Covering ‘fashion’s past, present, and future’, expect conversations with tastemakers, profiles of established and emerging designers, in-depth features spanning innovation in garment production to the spaces clothing inhabits and a mixture of high/low fashion editorials.

Appropriately titled ‘The First Ever’, this debut issue sets out to uncover the essence of an ‘Outlander’. For founder and editor-in-chief Callum McCafferty, ‘to be an Outlander is to be unapologetically yourself. To be confident… It’s owning your identity so fully that it makes others question theirs’. On the covers, choose between the pastel-hued polkadot surroundings of Justin Bieber—dressed in Skylrk—or opt for the the more muted and snowy palette of a Hermès adorned Travis Scott. Inside, Callum picks their brains about their personal creative visions and their relationships with the respective brands; Kody Phillips, Larry Warsh, Aitor Throup, Skepta, Pablo Attal, Ancho Poncho, Katkoot and more explore what being an ‘Outlander’ means to them; and Marcus Mitropoulos traces the technical evolution of Stone Island’s renowned Tela Stella jacket. Another highlight of this packed first issue is Aswan Magumbe’s reverential profile of Clerkenwell institution Sessions Arts Club, touching on the restaurant’s community feel and calm atmosphere amidst the buzz of the city.

Plus, become initiated into the Outlander clan with two branded sticker sheets inside.
