Launched in 1991 as Dazed & Confused and conceived as an alternative to mainstream style, fashion and culture magazines, Dazed is now a big name itself, with global distribution and a host of sister publications including Another Magazine and Hunger.
Following ‘The Uncensored Issue’—the debut issue of new Editor-in-Chief Ted Stansfield—this Winter 2025 ‘The Shadow Issue’ feels equally brave in its ambition and tone. As Ted writes, this issue delves into the dark, ‘exploring things we often try to hide or repress, both as individuals and as societies’. Hosting, as always, an impressive line-up of creatives and talent, this issue seeks to untangle how each star confronts the darkness within themself and society in their own unique way.
Choose from a plethora of covers, including ‘Adolescence’ lead actor Owen Cooper, musician Yung Lean, ‘model of the moment’ Loli Bahia, ‘One Battle After Another’s’ Chase Infiniti, model Dara Gueye, fashion designer duo August Barron, as well as the undisputed favourite when we hosted the Dazed team last week to launch the issue—‘I Love L.A’ creator Rachel Sennott flattened by a comically large tomato.
