Monthly
Editor: Manon Mollard

Founded in 1896, the AR has a proud tradition of challenge and criticism, scouring the globe for architecture that provokes and inspires, and relying on its immense archive and critically acclaimed writers to shape architectural discourse. Combine this with a rich history of contemporary editorial design and you have a magazine of interest beyond its natural architectural audience.

This issue showcases the winners and shortlists from the annual W Awards, celebrating ‘exemplary work from women and non-binary people in the field of gender and architecture.’ Leading the way is Suad Amiry, recognised for her conservation efforts in Palestine, Anne Lacaton of notable French office Lacaton & Vassal, and the team behind the ‘Designing Motherhood’ exhibition, which considers the political implications of objects and technology when designing for women's reproductive health.
