Italian cycling title Alvento takes a people-centric approach to the sport by celebrating those who have ‘chosen bikes as a means of expressing themselves.’ As for the name? It’s Italian for ‘in the wind’.
Previously published exclusively in Italian, the magazine is now available in English, but its coverage remains firmly Italian, profiling cyclists, covering races, sharing two-wheeled journeys from around the world and translating features from the original Italian edition.
In this issue: Alvento follows fierce competition at the 2026 Vuelta Femenina España between household name Anna van der Breggen and 22 year-old newcomer Paula Blasi on their ascent across the slopes of Les Praeres; meets Monica Trinca Colonel and her parents who share how she eventually won them over with her decision to go pro; and takes you through the grassy dunes and coastal vistas of a three day cycle across Finistère.
