‘The home of queer and gay photography‘

Fine art photography featuring the work of queer and gay creatives. Its simple but eye-catching covers are always a welcome addition to our shelves—they’ve been working through the many colours of the LGBTQIA+ flag—and this one is a glossy black juxtaposed with a gold foil typeface, representing its BIPOC community.

Inside, you’ll find the work of nine international photographers: Richard Kranzin, AdeY, Charles Moriarty, Olivier Muller, Paul McDonald, Krzysztof Marchlak, Yves de Brabander, Dylan Michaels, and Bert van Pelt. Plus, a candid interview with Arthur Tress reveals his pathway into photography, and the origins of his series ‘The Rambler’.

One dollar from the sale of each magazine continues to go to charities supporting the LGBTQ+ community and fighting the HIV/AIDS epidemic.

On the Journal:

In 2008 he co-founded The Little Black Gallery, one of London’s leading photography galleries, and last year he launched the magazine Boys! Boys! Boys!, dedicated to queer and gay photography…’
