‘Creative, compact and joyful ways to design and live’

Never Too Small is the print endeavour from the well-known YouTube channel of the same name that platforms small space design. It is made from offcuts of the videos, as their conversations with interesting people and their tiny homes always end up going beyond just space and design. The result is an unpretentious interiors and architecture magazine focused on creativity, individuality, sustainability and innovation.

This latest issue opens with a lyric from Queen’s ‘Don’t Stop Me Now’—‘I’m a shooting star leaping through the sky like a tiger’—encapsulating the playful and pioneering spirit of the creatives featured between its pages. Thali and Gabi Thukerman, the creative duo behind the content creation powerhouse ‘Two Lost Kids’, star on the cover; inside they delve into the irreverent and visual social strategy behind their work with major brands keen to tap into their creative insight.

Elsewhere, leaf through an interview with Spanish product designer Curro Claret, spanning his ‘no design’ philosophy and the nature of beauty, and discover the personalised apartment—adorned with hand painted tiles, pink fluted lampshades, and a yellow tulip shower curtain—of graphic novelist and illustrator Giulia Spagnulo (aka ‘ZUZU’). An interview with her collaborator Marco Rulli, co-founder of Rome-based architecture firm ‘02A’, unfolds in the following feature. Plus, a deep dive into the life of postmodernism figurehead Aldo Rossi, and the usual showcase of tiny homes from across the globe.

On the Journal
At Work With Elizabeth Price: ‘Experience and exposure has shown us that the most creative and clever design is found in some of the smallest homes. Constraint breeds creativity as we know… even the smallest homes are full of potential.’
