‘The untold and unsung’

Off-Field is the debut anthology from the team behind the multi-award winning podcast ‘Unsung’, covering ‘diverse and fascinating sporting landscapes beyond the familiar’. Containing a mixture of historical and contemporary stories, Off-Field is a smartly designed and unconventional guidebook for those wishing to discover new sporting communities and subcultures.

Opening the first edition is a typical itinerary of Ötillö, the world’s toughest swimrun endurance event held across Stockholm’s Archipelago, accompanied by sunrise shots of the fresh-faced athletes taking part. Iconic cyclist photographer, Graham Watson, is celebrated with pages of archive photography capturing laser-focused cyclists among breathtaking European landscapes. Elsewhere, you’ll learn about the ancient sport of camel racing in the dusty Dubai desert and gain a rare insight into Bhutan’s approach to sport, as well as meeting the American man who introduced the remote community to baseball.
