‘Archive and analytics of personal wardrobes’

A new title from former Nike footwear designer Colin Behr, Wardrobe Theory Project is dedicated to sustainability in fashion, with each individual issue envisioned as a ‘processbook for one wardrobe.’ Inspired by the design of Japanese streetwear magazines, WTP is pleasingly organised into two sections, differentiated by paper stock; a matt ‘Features’ segment is followed by the glossier ‘Wardrobe’ curation.

This is their debut issue, with a spotlight on editor and creative director Colin Behr’s own warm and functional wardrobe. Accompanying features include an essay by Ryan Lynch on ‘the concept of materialism in the modern day,’ a conversation with Dust Collective founder Garett Cornelison, a profile of sisters Ann and Kim Ahn Vu, who together run the family business Gien’s Tailors, as well as, a gorgeous visual guide on how to mend buttons.
