David Shrigley on Karen magazine

The Observer had another couple of magazines in its features pages this week. As part of a feature 'The best-kept arts secrets in Britain', artist David Shrigley chooses Karen magazine and singer Kate Jackson chooses Sheffield fanzine Go.

I've written about Karen before – a subtle antidote to the anodyne lifestyle consumer titles that surround us (time for issue three though!). Go has a similarly alternative view of things, loving instead of ignoring our inner cities. Pages from all eight issues are available online.
