Fletcher magazines

I celebrated the start of 2007 with a trip to the Alan Fletcher show at the Design Museum, and very good it was too. Plenty has been written about him and the exhibition already, and I expected it to be good but still it exceeded my expectations.

Here are some of Fletcher's magazine cover designs from the show, ranging from the Royal College of Art's Ark, designed while Fletcher was a student at the College in the fifties, to a series of sixties covers for US business title Fortune, via designs for various architecture/design publications. Like so much in the exhibition, most of these covers still look contemporary today.
