Let Them Eat Cake
Let Them Eat Cake is a magazine made by the great unsung of the fashion industry – the assistants, runners and interns that keep the whole machine turning. So it's clearly a great idea, giving people like that experience, but it also means the resulting magazine is a strange mix of good, bad and, yes, ugly images.
The design has some nice touches; a highlight of the recent issue 6 is this beautiful headline font. These examples look hand drawn, but some of the characters repeat so I guess it's a font. Great in black and white, even better in colour:
