Little White Lies show

If you’re in Shoreditch over the next few weeks I recommend a visit to the latest show at Kemistry Gallery, where Little White Lies are showing a collection of commissioned illustrations based on seventies movies.

Creative director Paul Willoughby worked with 22 illustrators on the set, which developed from the magazine’s current Apocalypse Now cover, and includes plenty of favourites of the era. Clockwise from top left: A Clockwork Orange by Von, Suspiria by Jesse Auresalo, Star Wars by Stefan Glerum, Beyond the Valley of the Dolls by Autumn Whitehurst.

Curiously, they work less well as actual front covers – some are mocked up as Little White Lies in the show – but as A3 prints they are beautiful and well worth seeing. You can buy the prints here.
