Magazines in today’s Guardian

Several magazine-related stories in today’s Guardian.

First, an interview with Condé Nast supremo Nicholas Coleridge, in which he hints at a new UK launch next year. There’s a brief preview of the new ‘serious’ title Standpoint (‘What strikes you first is how good it looks’), and a longer overview of the tweenage girls’ market – a sea of pink.

Finally, there’s an amusing piece about how the PR and publishing industries work together to get as much coverage for new movies, in this case the Sex in the City film.
