Next month Black Dog publish 100 Years of Magazine Covers, designed by Neville Brody, Nick Hard and Marcus Piper at Research Studios and written by ex-Face editor Steve Taylor. Haven't seen it yet but the title is self-explanatory. Will post further details when I see a copy.
Meanwhile Taschen are publishing a 12-volume box set record of the last seven decades of Italian architecture magazine Domus . I'm only aware of the magazine's recent history as a large-format glossy, but Domus 1928-1999 looks like an extraordinary collection, with every cover reproduced and the whole set fuly indexed. It costs £350 but should be worth it to anyone interested in 20th century architecture and design.
