As Pride month comes to an end, the fourth and final publication in our WLQM series comes out of Africa—a continent we’d love to see more magazines from. W’ahu, from Accra, Ghana, addresses the West African country’s ‘glamorous and resilient group’, a coded reference to its buoyant LGBTQI+ community.
Gayletter #19
The third in our series marking Pride month features New York’s Gayletter, which began as an email newsletter offering a curated guide to gay art, culture and nightlife in the city. Six years since its launch in print, the magazine has the pulling power to attract the likes of Charli XCX, Honey Dijon and Frank Ocean as its cover stars.
