The magazine room

Thanks to Marcus Piper for forwarding details about a new gallery at Berlin's KW Institute for Contemporary Art. The magazine room is a permanent exhibition of 90 magazines from 18 countries, all open to the public to read. The site carries a list of the magazines featured including links to their websites. Not surprisingly there's a bias toward German art titles, but many of my favourite independents are included. A few worth noting: Dutch architecture quarterly Volume, German cultural magazine 032c and Middle East arts and culture magazine Bidoun.
