Upcoming events

A few pieces of magCulture news to share.

First, our shop at The Church of London offices in Shoreditch returns next week, this time on a permanent basis. It’ll feature eight of our favourite magazines at any one time, with an ever-changing line-up. The shop space has been completely redesigned, and acts as the entrance to TCoL’s impressive new Gallery 71a exhibition/event space. It’ll be open (cash only) Mon–Sat, 10am–53-pm from Wednesday 6 June (meanwhile our online shop remains open too).

Second, we’re proud to be participating in Edinburgh’s MagFest this August. Andrew and I are compiling a list of 40 of our favourite magazines for an exhibition that’ll be open 26–27 August alongside the conference organised by PPA Scotland. The magazines will be displayed in the spectacular glass opening hall of the Our Dynamic Earth museum. We’ll also be taking part in a workshop with local designers on Sunday 26. Among the many speakers froma cross the industry, Andrew will be addressing the future of publishing on Monday 27.
