Sometimes Magazine is a music-focused cultural compendium, brimming with fanzine energy and channelling the spirit of ‘groovy 70s and 80s rock mags’ with risograph-like printing. Featuring interviews, long-form features, album reviews, visual art, prose, and self-confessed ‘ramblings’.
This tenth edition stars punk rock pioneers Amyl and The Sniffers on the cover and is accompanied by an interview with front woman Amy Taylor inside, delving into activism, staying fit, and songwriting. A candid 2024 interview with musician Chad Ubovich opens this issue, in a mammoth five hour conversation that unfolds across six sections.
Elsewhere, readers can expect a wide ranging selection of album reviews, a first person account of Barcelona Psych Fest, and a music-oriented guide to Porto.
