‘A series of printed propositions’

Hailing from Tbilisi, Georgia’s vibrant capital, Vision Undressed is a new fashion title with a focus on process over product. Envisioned as ‘an experiment with the ambition of sparking a movement of vulnerability and transparency’, it provides a compelling alternative to the glossy titles currently dominating the sector.

With two matte covers to choose from, this sophomore issue features contributors whose work is rooted in the tangible world, favouring ‘direct experience’ over digital engagement. Leading this edition is a conversation between the legendary downtown New York artist Patti Smith and Soundwalk Collective founder Stephan Crasneanscki; inside, the pair discuss the origins and evolution of their genre-defying collaboration ‘Correspondences’. Elsewhere, readers can expect soft focus fashion photography; revealing stories featuring the likes of ‘Kinoproby’ founders Olga Romashova and Evgenji Romashov; a showcase of work from photographer Natela Grigalashvili, accompanied by personal annotations; and an interview with Ketevane Maissaia, founder of ‘Le Mocassin Zippé’, the label putting a contemporary twist on traditional Georgian shoemaking.
