Quarterly fashion, beauty and culture glossy 72 is the brainchild of former British Vogue editor Edward Enninful. This fifth edition for Fall 2026 leads with Enninful’s imminent 90s exhibition at Tate Modern, its nine covers featuring models born in the nineties and its back covers starring nineties supermodels (Kate, Naomi et al) as shot in the nineties.
Despite Enninful’s claim to the contrary in his intro letter, the issue is pure nostalgia for the era that made him. As such it marks a sudden jack knife away from previous issues of 72, which have seen him reach for a more mature positioning. The imagery is younger and more excited this time, and will chime with anyone who was there, but the page layouts lack the hutzpah of the era the issue is celebrating.
