‘The uplifting current affairs magazine’
Positive News was established to report on inspirational issues and examine society’s challenges through a lens of progress and possibility—‘constructive journalism’. Originally produced as a newspaper and distributed free by volunteers, it was relaunched as a magazine in 2015.
This issue for July-September 2026—themed ‘Home Team’—celebrates fan culture on a local level, and spotlights a burgeoning appreciation for grass roots clubs and community. Headlining this edition is a feature examining how sky rocketing Premier League football ticket prices has given local teams a helping hand, and ushered in players once pushed to the margins.
On the Journal, from 2016:
