Pit began life exploring the world of food and fire and has since evolved into a gastro-curious little magazine exploring everything and anything food-shaped.
This 17th issue looks at food and TV: a series of portraits of Americans eating in front of their screens makes a nice transition from the last US-themed issue of the magazine; a QVC shopping channel food stylist reveals the wastage in TV shoots; Lalita Ahmed is revealed as the first cook to share Indian food on British TV; and the EU’s eighties butter mountain scandal is remembered via its weekly coverage on TV’s satirical puppet show Spitting Image.
