The colossal, highly visual French fashion tome Self Service celebrated its 30th anniversary not so long ago and its mission remains, in their own words, ‘to encourage and celebrate artistic freedom.’

This Fall/Winter 2026 issue is titled ‘On Deconstructing Complacency’, interrogating and agitating against the stifling of creativity and flattening of popular culture in modern times. On the cover, British model Jacqui Hooper smokes a cigarette, photographed by editor and creative director Ezra Petronio. Inside, discover ‘The Paris Sessions’, a dossier of celebrity polaroids featuring the likes of Alex Consani, FKA Twigs, Daniel Roseberry, Julianne Moore and Patti Smith, and an insert exploring the thoughts of a host of cultural luminaries on the function of craft today, guest curated by Nicolas Trembly.
