Record Culture returns after four years out! The team reconvene for another collection of stories from the intersection of music makers and their intersection with art, fashion, and culture. It’s great to have this magazine back on the shelves!
With reports and interviews from across the globe featuring Paul Takahashi, Nicolas Godin, Kiki Kudo, Jean Touitou, Frankie Teardrop, Jamie Tiller, Sound Metaphors, OKO DJ, Ariel Zetina, Fraser Cooke. Plus ‘Plant Bar,’ a short story by Luke Jenner, and a series of artworks, ‘Eddie Ruscha: Sound/Waves’. Expect speakers, decks, mixing desks, cables and plenty of vinyl among the portraits and interviews.
Plus two additional supplements: ‘The Invitations of Life… Child,’ a sample of Nicky Siano’s archive of 1970s NYC club flyers; and ‘You Can Hear Your Won Heartbeat,’ a photo report from the Tokyo HQ of Audio-Technica.
