D&AD magazine event

I'll be chairing a D&AD members event at Pentagram, London W11, later this month. Snappily titled ‘Magazine Design’ it features several of the best UK art directors: Matt Willey from Studio8; David McKendrick, art director of Esquire; and one other designer TBC (watch this space). Each panelist will talk through their favourite ten examples of editorial design (their own or other peoples’ work) before we discuss various challenges faced by the publishing industry.

UPDATE: Becky Smith, creative director of Lula magazine, is confirmed as the final panelist.
