magCulture Meets Migrant Journal
The magCulture events team has had three jam-packed weeks of off-site talks, pop-ups and parties both in London and abroad!
We’re delighted to return now to our base at the magCulture Shop to kick start the summer series of magCulture Meets with our friends at Migrant Journal, the print publication critically exploring the circulation of people, goods, information, fauna and flora around the world and the transformative impact they have on space.
Migrant Journal’s creators made it clear the project would always be a finite, six-issue series. Following issues exploring wired capital, flowing grounds and dark matters, the sixth and final issue takes on foreign agents as its subject. Editor Justinien Tribillon will be joining us to celebrate the launch the issue and talk us through its pages featuring stories that explore diamond painting in China, the bedazzled domes of Jerusalem and the digital landscapes of Poland. He’ll also reflect on the end of the Migrant Journal project.
The brand new issue will be available to purchase on the night.
Thursday 13 June
Doors opens at 6.30pm and the talk will kick off at 7pm followed by an audience Q&A.

We’re grateful to Park Communications and the Five Points Brewing Company for their support of magCulture Meets.
magCulture Meets is a monthly series of talks intended to give insight into the process of magazine making. The evenings offer the opportunity to share a beer with fellow magCulturalists and hear a magazine-maker discuss their project in an informal, relaxed atmosphere.
