magCulture Meets Rubbish Famzine
For a very special edition of magCulture Meets, we’re delighted to welcome Rubbish Famzine’s Pann Lim to the magCulture Shop.
Flying in from Singapore for this international launch of issue six, Pann, who creates the beautiful hand-finished piece of publishing with his wife, son and daughter, will be presenting an overview of the project to date and introducing the new issue, which focusses on the family’s relationship with food.
Hear more about sections dedicated to home-cooked recipes, food emoji stickers, their number one noodle stall and a series of illustrations and haikus written by Pann’s children, Renn and Aira, about their favourite preserved foods.
Rooted in the traditions of its home country and built on the four family member’s relationships, Rubbish Famzine is a unique project and this is a rare chance to hear from one of its makers. Pann is also the principal behind award-winning design studio Kinetic.
We will have limited numbers of the new issue will be on sale at the magCulture Shop.
