Monocle Cafe, London

After a long build-up, Monocle finally open their first London Café on April 15. Their latest issue includes plenty of detail about the space – the design and suppliers – but what wins it a mention here is that they’ll be espressoing with my favourite Allpress coffee. The new café is just down the road from their HQ, at 18 Chiltern St W1U 7QA, and even has a basement subscriber-only space.
