Pulp is published by paper manufacturer Fedrigoni, and celebrates the creative use of their papers. As well as a great paper and print sample, it’s a source of design inspiration and is produced by the team behind Eye magazine.
Issue 23 is the Fabriano special issue, throwing a spotlight on their Fabriano paper, named after the Italian town in which paper mills were founded in 1264, and whose papers have been loved and used by artists ever since.
Fabriano has been part of Fedrigoni for two decades and continues to innovate while making the finest papers for creative expression.
Pulp 23’s subject matter includes great artists, the art of the swatch book and Pentagram’s elegant rebrand of Carlo Cattaneo’s original Fabriano logotype. The photography is by Philip Sayer and the cover shows a detail of Giulia Orecchia’s illustrations for the forthcoming Fabriano Festival del Disegno 2022.
