‘The Spirit of Independence’

Once cats and fashion, now regrettably without (so many) cats, this Spring/Summer 2026 issue is dedicated to the middle ground between creation and dissemination—and how creative worlds rely on both the ‘faces in the front’ and ‘those behind it’. As editor-in-chief Maria Joudina-Robinson writes in the issue’s opening letter: ‘One cannot exist without the other.’ Predominantly visual, the issue also features interviews with the likes of Bella Freud, on the psychology of adornment, florist Hamish Powell, Norwegian filmmaker Mona Fastvold, R&B artist Miguel, and ‘Love Story’ actress Dree Hemingway.

The many covers this issue feature the likes of Kylie Jenner, Bella Freud, Miguel, Alva Claire, Stacy Martin, Delilah Belle, Achol and more.
