‘Chic and based since 1980’
After the splashy relaunch earlier this year, i-D is back with the second of its biannual issues, and reporting well over $1 million in ad sales, a record for the magazine.
The Beta Issue has three cover flavours: pick from Bad Bunny, Olivier Rousteing or baby Deva. The baby represents the Beta theme—inside the issue a series of people (Jeremy Corbyn, Courtney Love, Chat GPT among them) offer advice to those born in 2025.
Also here: an oral history of NY fashion brand Telfar, a guide to winking for the i-D cover, a paeon to formal dressing, and a special report about the state of university education in the US.
