The large format magazine of Larry Gagosian’s globe-spanning chain of contemporary art galleries is more than a promotional vehicle for its sponsor. The cover of the latest issue, released alongside London Frieze Week, features a detail from Brice Marden’s ‘The Propitious Garden of Plane Image, Second Version,’ (2000–06) Iyou’ll find Alex Da Corte and Michael Cary on René Magritte, Martin Germann on Cady Noland’s artist’s book The Clip-On Method, and photographer Tyler Mitchell in conversation with Cecilia Alemani.

There’s also an architectural strand running through the issue, including a look at Peter Doig’s exhibition at the Le Corbusier–designed Maison La Roche in Paris, a report from Palazzo Diedo, the Venetian home of Nicolas Berggruen’s Arts & Culture project, and a survey of the meditative work of the South Korean architect Byoung Soo Cho.
