‘A space for cheeky stories’

Toronto-born Lore brings plenty of fun and flair to its loose mix of culture, gossip and general vibes, presented in slim, glossy format. Their only rule? ‘No trauma dumping. There's more than enough sadboy creatives out there, and we need more bursts of pure fun.’

That's certainly the case with this second issue, a passionate and sex-positive ode The Daddy archetype and its many identities: Victoria Chan offers a brief history of the term (the earliest sexual use was in 1681); Lubana Gemma helps channel your femme daddy energy; uncles—aka ‘lost daddies’—are celebrated; six literal dads share their fatherhood tips; dad bod varieties are demystified; and more.

All linked by the premise that ‘daddy energy is not about being a man—it's about being a provider of deep safety.’ Amen to that
