New Canadian arts and culture magazine Orange Cube ‘spotlights Ottawa’s creative current’, providing an experimental and playful platform for collaboration across disciplines. So why Orange Cube? According to the team, the colour ‘signals heat’, whilst ‘the cube stands for structure’, with the publication also functioning as an exhibition space to showcase the kinetic energy currently shaping the city.
Orange Cube’s ‘origin myth’ edition, issue #0, is titled ‘On Being An Artist’ and brings together established and emerging Canadian artists through interviews, profiles, photographic editorials, party photo albums, and more. Inside, you’ll hear from the likes of poet Evo Azuka, photographer You-Sheng Chiu, dancer Meagan Polegato, painter Yomi Orimoloye, chef Andy Sasmito, musician Evan Hutton, plus many others.
