‘Journeys in refugee and immigrant literature’
A migrant-led, not for profit publication featuring fiction, poetry and non-fiction from immigrants and refugees in the UK and across the world. It’s published biannually, with one issue in English and the other in various native languages, alongside English translations.
The writing is honest, visceral and un-romanticised—conveying the realities of migration and emphasising humanity above all—with portions of each issue donated to refugee centres, hotels and public libraries.
This Autumn 2025 issue features a foreword from the late Dame Stephanie Shirley CH, alongside poetry, fiction and non-fiction that showcases ‘that so-called ‘boat-people’ and other migrants are as human as anyone else: as good, as flawed, as complex’.
