See The ACT—formerly known simply as ACT (Art, Culture, Talent)—is a triannual, visually-led publication from Toronto aiming ‘to satisfy your aesthetic hunger’.
Sporting the gamified redesigned masthead debuted last issue, this eighth edition is an escapist ode to the ‘zest’ of summer. Inside, it’s another entirely photographic edition, capturing the somewhat surreal journey of this issue’s cowboy hat toting, US flag wielding protagonist. Evoking the innate yearning of endless summer days, full-bleed close-ups of ripe lemons and religious iconography populate her journey through sun-kissed Mediterranean pastures. Across the Atlantic, in Miami Beach’s neon-lit Starlite hotel, a wrestler awaits her call.
