Dark Entries is a spooky little zine that takes ‘excursions into the Gothic’. Each issue includes interviews, non-fiction, poetry, and curated playlists exploring the weird, spooky, and unexplainable.
Inside this midnight blue issue, and the fifth edition to date, Nafre Hellulander explores the remote and blustery pull of the North, whilst Margate local Dan Thompson takes a ‘hauntological tour’ of his gentrified hometown, where ‘DFLs’ (‘Down-From-Londons’) brush shoulders with ghosts of battles past—from Luftwaffe bombers to ’80s mods and rockers.
Plus, illustrator Mat Pringle shares a selection of etched linocut prints from his Folk Horror Alphabet, alongside two enthrallingly morbid poems.
