‘A zine about data visualisation’
Data visualisation is everywhere today, not least in magazines. But this zine is the only one we know of dedicated to the subject and the people behind it. Between them, editors Tiziana and Piero have 20 years experience of designing and lecturing about infographics, and this petit publication’s pages are packed with insight into the daily ups and downs of data visualisation.
It’s a beautiful thing in its own right: this time around it’s a luminous bubblegum pink. All that being said, we are sad to discover this is the last issue (at least in the form we’ve come to know) of Market Cafe Magazine.
Opening with a guest editor’s address from none other than Chat GPT 5.0, this final issue is themed ‘Absence of Data’ and explores the the ‘gaps, voids, and silences in data’. A limited edition print-run of 1000 copies, this issue features work from Adelaida Avila, Ben Pollok, Jon Schwabish, Alice Feng, Musekeen Liddar, Francesca Grignani and many more.
