An XL-format, matte-papered magazine from Istanbul exploring a variety of different themes within and connections between the wider subjects of art and society.
This 21st issue for Spring/Summer 2026, ‘Dear John’, takes its title from the lost art of letter-writing and the ‘attentive moments’ that the practice once inspired. Inside, you’ll find a feature by Sapiens author Yuval Noah Harari examining the past decade of rapid digitisation and what lies ahead, an interview with Academy Award-winning director Paolo Sorrentino on his latest film ‘La Grazia’, and poetry from wordsmith Kae Tempest reflecting on identity and self-expression.
According to the editors: ‘In a sense, throughout this issue we write letters to our time—and gather letters in return. Sometimes directly, sometimes indirectly. Sometimes by asking questions, sometimes simply by looking. We wandered through the effort of trying to put our feelings into words, questioning the ways in which we relate to images, and attempting to draw certain lines more clearly.’
