B.Y.O.B #3

152 x 210 mm, 114 pages
New York, US
Quarterly, since 2025
Editor: Alexander Shchurenkov
Art director: Ivan Annenkov

This new magazine is built around wine as a metaphor for socialability. It’s acronym name stands for ‘Bring Your Own Bottle,’ and stands too for people bringing their own stories and experiences.

Written by wine lovers, many of whom aren’t trained journalists, the stories show great knowledge of wine, and they and the people they meet express that passion in a relaxed tone that will be reassuring to Noble Rot readers. Two completely different magazines, but they complement each other.

Issue three zeroes in on Italy, looking at the new generation of wine bars in Milan,  the rebirth of wine production in traditional areas like Sicily, Emilia-Romagna and the Lange, and attempts to apply biodynamic techniques to Barolo wine.

Plus part three of the Young Winemaker’s Diary, a report on Michelin’s plan to start rating wine as well as food, and more.
