United Kingdom
Founder & creative director: KK Obi
Editorial director: Matthew Sterling Benson
Art director: Willy Ndatira

Boy.Brother.Friend is a a poetic and visually stimulating biannual that ‘examines art, fashion & theory through the guise of the diaspora male experience.’

This twelfth issue explores the ‘Public/Private’ binary, platforming artists who sit at the intersection. Made in collaboration with the Open Society Foundation, the issue unfolds over three chapters: ‘Holding Pattern’, ‘On Display’, and ‘(Un)commons’. Alongside conversations with both cover artists—Franco-American singer-songwriter Crystal Murray and newly appointed Christian Louboutin creative director Jaden Smith—influential New York-based stylist and fashion editor Carlos Nazario sits down with art director Willy Ndatira to discuss his radical publishing project ‘Silver Lining’, and Goldie Williams Vericain presents a portfolio of photographs from the inaugural edition of ‘Heirs of Greatness Day’, a pan-African cultural event organised by Orun Studios in Casablanca, Morocco.
