Immediately recognisable, the iconic lipstick-red cover with peep-holes of limb-ish photography by Giampaolo Sgura, Alice Rosati and Isabelle Wenzel. Themed ‘Backwards’, this issue features dynamic bodies contorting in unusual ways in unexpected locations, wavering between textured, abstract styling and full nudity. Carnale issue nine contains long-form writing and integrates philosophy with politics and fashion, alongside traditional full-bleed fashion photography with a seductive edge.
