Founded by two ‘lovers of culture and artistic expression’—Brazillian Igor Morozoni and Irish Graham Dow—Estar Magazine is a new print title committed ‘to preserving and immortalising real stories from real people’. Rooted in subcultures like skateboarding and grafitti, the magazine offers a tangible counterpoint to an age dominated by the digital and the superficial, creating space for voices that often go unheard.
Inside this sophomore edition, readers can expect: a deep dive into North West London’s alternative gallery space Harlsden High Street; a showcase of atmospheric work from fine artist Priscila Rooxo, alongside an interview exploring the art world and her practice; and Anaís Almeida plates up a series dishes incorporating the humble tomato, spanning Mexico, Italy and China. Firmly embedded in the underground scene, the magazine weaves together glossy skate photography, acid-inspired typography, and glimpses of subcultures from cities across the world.
